Kavya:
And what if all of a sudden, we lose interest in each other and start driving apart from each other? What if we lose the attachment and affection that we have for each other? Instead of continuing the struggle we have for each other, we accept the flow of the situation and give up on where life would be headed.
Dhruv:
Well, it was never about the affection that we have for each other or rather any other thing. Losing interest is something that we will come across in every relationship that we are accounted into. It’s a point where you are worried about every single thing associated with your relationship. Maybe you will be surrounded by so many reasons that would cloud your thoughts as to why the relationship would not succeed further. Or maybe you are just taking the other person for granted and trying to figure out all the faults that he/she has and trying to compare them with some so-called 'Perfect partners'. For you need to understand that, a relationship can’t be perfect, and it should never be. And giving up on something is just a state of mind at some peculiar times when you are already covered by many different aspects of the struggle. You are finding it difficult to come out. Let’s say you are worried about your job problem and can’t find a solution to come out. You by unconscious means try to relate your every situation (whether you are in a good state in that particular situation) with your problem and try to point out similar imperceptible dots to connect with your current situation or problem, and at the end, you are pretty successful at doing it too.
Now toward the actual part of your question, I would ensure that you do not experience any random thoughts about our relationship not working. If you still feel like giving up, I would let you take your time. However, I would also let you be sure that you don’t delve deep into your thoughts and stay updated with you. For you, you need to take your time in a peaceful place away from your normal life. You would need to rethink only a single point related to what made you fall in love with me and why we are so special to each other. There may be 100s of reasons to not continue, but that one single reason would keep us united. And if that's not the case, then I would suggest you Kavuu just come and hug me, your every thought will vanish within a fraction of a second.
Kavya:
Umm, not a bad idea though Dhruv, but what if... I say... no hug...
Dhruv:
Then I would pull you closer and hug you more tightly!
